Newleaf Associates

Newleaf Associates is an independent training consultancy established in 2005 by Margaret Johnston, a highly experienced, CIPD qualified Trainer, Facilitator and Coach who has held various Training and HR positions in the public, private and Further Education sectors.

All projects are managed personally by Margaret Johnston, the Principal Training Consultant who is also responsible for delivering most courses. Associate Trainers are engaged for some large scale projects or for specialist input and are carefully selected for their relevant experience and training skills.

Our aims are to:

• Build long-term relationships with our clients and provide on-going support.

Our main activities

We have established a strong track record working mainly in Scotland & N. Ireland and have been successful in winning large public sector contracts as well as undertaking numerous small projects for clients in all sectors.   

We offer a wide portfolio of courses within the areas of Management, HR, Communication, Personal Development, Customer Service and Trainer Training. Most of our work involves the design and delivery of tailored or fully bespoke in-house courses. By taking time to listen to our clients and thoroughly researching their needs, we are able to provide solutions that make a real difference to individual and organisational performance. Our courses are interactive, informal and learner-centred with the emphasis on skills development and transfer of learning to the workplace. 

In addition to the provision of group training courses, we offer coaching to individuals for skills development. We also undertake ad hoc projects relating to training and HR.
