BSD Ltd are a social enterprise delivering business start-up and growth services across North & West Yorkshire including government-funded schemes offering FREE and subsidised advice, seminars, networking opportunities & training.
What we do
Business Support & Development Ltd operate from 7 locations across North & West Yorkshire from which we deliver a variety of government and European funded projects, training and seminar events including:
- Regional Enterprise Programme – Funded by the European Regional Development Fund to provide FREE business advice & mentoring for those interested in self-employment, particularly those wishing to set-up in rural areas, women and other under-represented groups in enterprise. The programme offers networking event opportunities for participants.
- learndirect e-Courses – We are an accredited reseller for learndirect e-Courses covering a variety of business start-up & growth relevant training, at a reasonable cost with the convenience of online access. No need to sign up to college or attend a course at fixed times!
- learndirect Vocational Training – For growing organisations we can offer subsidised and often free vocational training at Level 2 and Level 3 in a variety of sector specific and generic business subjects for example Health & Social Care, Customer Service, Business Administration and Team Leading. No need to sign up to college or attend a course at fixed times!
- Barclays Seminars - Start-up business seminars on behalf of Barclays are great for those at the 'ideas' stage or just about to start a new business. We deliver these seminars as a partner of the National Enterprise Network to ensure the highest professional standard.
- Enterprise Clubs - Enterprise Clubs are run in association with local Jobcentre + offices to provide business start up advice and general self-employment support tailored to people currently experiencing unemployment.
