We offer weekend workshops specifically for those in or wanting to set up business in handmade, vintage and arts industries but every small business and freelancer will gain from them.

Workshops are interactive and give the basics of how to start earning – or indeed increase your earnings from what you are good at – being creative.

There are a variety of topics; get behind the mystery of websites and domains, Easy Blogging and making Social Media work.  Other topics include Selling to People Other Than Family and Friends, Finding Your First Customer and Making Events Work for You and experts will be bought in to deliver workshops such as Using Photography, Finance & Accounts and Copyright.What will I gain from each workshop?

During a workshop you will be gain ideas on how to increase your earnings. Some ideas you can put into practice during the workshop, especially the blogging, social media and website workshops others such as creating sales, making exhibiting pay, choosing a niche market and building your network you will go away with a list of actions to be worked on.

The Details

Workshops last an hour and a half with time for specific questions being answered.

Each weekend workshop is £15 price (+ any transaction fees) and your admission includes a quality drink & cake. Workshops are held in the basement of Six Eight Kafe, Temple Row, Birmingham B2 5HG

There is an upper limit of 10 people per workshop so all places need to be pre-booked.
