Association of Business Mentors

The Association of Business Mentors (ABM) is the independent, not-for-profit professional body for Enterprise and Business  Mentors.  Our purpose is to inspire and champion excellence in Business Mentoring, to advance awareness and standards in the business mentoring profession, and to make a sustainable difference to mentors, the organisations and people that they help.

• To make credible, professional business mentoring the norm through our best practice codes and procedures
• To build a vibrant, energising and knowledge rich environment to support the profession’s sustainable growth and development both online and offline
• To position ABM at the leading edge of mentoring, enabling its members to be the business mentoring  community of choice for enterprises the length and breadth of the UK

• To actively advance education and best practice in business mentoring and raising the bar
• To develop and implement targeted marketing initiatives to encourage growth to the profession
• To encourage and provide opportunities for an open exchange of views and experiences amongst mentors and mentees
• To collaborate and build a network of strategic alliances and relationships to maximise the members’ and the profession’s potential and form a supportive professional community
