What do we do?

Darwen Creates is a business incubation centre designed to provide the space, support and advice needed when starting a business. From flexible office space to expert business advice the scheme can offer and signpost to a variety of services such as business advisers, mentoring, workshops and networking.

Who do we help?

We work with anybody in the local community of who is interested in developing an idea or starting a business. The scheme focuses on young people and the wider community in Blackburn with Darwen but we are happy to work with people from outside of this area.

What can you expect from us?

We support many different people in many different ways and tailor our support to your individual circumstances. This might include:

• Attending workshops in a range of topics.
• Developing your business idea and creating a business plan.
• Signposting to expert advice in specific areas.
• Accessing our office space on a full-time or flexible basis.
